November 2026 – Family Update

November reminds us that some of God’s greatest blessings come when we simply trust Him enough to take the next step. As Thanksgiving approaches, we naturally reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout the year. Yet Scripture repeatedly teaches that faith is more than remembering what God has done. Faith moves forward in obedience because of who God is.

One of the highlights of October was preaching at the Father-Son Campout at The Wilds Christian Camp. Our theme, “Faith for the Family Adventure,” came from Joshua 3-4, where God led Israel across the Jordan River. Before they experienced God’s power, they had to step into the water by faith. The lesson is just as relevant today. God continues to guide His people, and He calls us to trust His Word, obey His leading, and pass His faithfulness on to the next generation.

This month’s update also includes:

  • Highlights from the Father-Son Campout at The Wilds, where fathers and sons were challenged to strengthen their relationships with God and with one another through the example of Joshua and the crossing of the Jordan River.
  • A report from October ministry opportunities, including preaching at Westgate Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Missions Emphasis Sundays in Anderson, South Carolina; Alexandria, Virginia; and Rockville, Maryland.
  • Opportunities to encourage future missionaries through ministry at Faith Baptist Bible College and Appalachian Bible College, challenging students to consider God’s call on their lives.
  • An invitation to participate in EMU International’s Christmas Offering, helping provide encouragement and practical assistance to missionaries and national workers serving around the world.

I am continuing to build my 2027 ministry calendar. You can view my schedule at pastorjeffdavis.com/schedule. I would love the opportunity to visit your church and share how God is strengthening national leaders and advancing the Gospel across the lands. To schedule a visit, email me at jeff@emuinternational.org.

We are also praying for additional monthly financial partners. Your support helps missionaries remain spiritually healthy, encouraged, and equipped for the work God has entrusted to them. For more information, contact me at jeff@emuinternational.org or click here to give today.
