This month’s Update opens with Nehemiah’s call to “rise up and build”—a reminder that God strengthens the hands of His servants for the work He places before them. As I look back over ministry in Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, and among Arab communities here in the U.S., and now prepare to teach in Chile, that same theme rings true: God is building, and He invites us to join Him.
This month’s update also includes:
- A preview of my June ministry trip to Chile, including a pastors’ conference with missionaries Tom and Connie Chapman.
- Highlights from the June EMU International Newsletter, featuring Part 3 of Cross‑Cultural Collaboration, Easter ministry in Mexico, and global updates from India, Hong Kong, and the Midwest.
- Two areas of special need: Rick’s Projects at Camp Emmanuel and mid‑year support for missionaries facing rising costs.
- Sweet family moments—Joanna’s 60th birthday, visits from her sisters, and time with our children and grandchildren.
- A hopeful update on our granddaughter Khloe, who is responding well to her new infusion treatments.
- Prayer requests for Joanna’s upcoming trip to Minneapolis for the birth of our tenth grandchild, and for wisdom as we seek a reliable vehicle for summer ministry travel.

I am currently planning my 2026 calendar. You can view my schedule here: pastorjeffdavis.com/schedule. I would love the privilege of visiting your church and sharing how God is using EMU International to strengthen national leaders and advance the Gospel across the lands. To schedule a visit, email me at jeff@emuinternational.org.
We are also praying for additional monthly financial partners. Would you consider joining our team? Your support helps us “rise up and build” where God opens doors. For more information, contact me at jeff@emuinternational.org or click here to give today.
